Seniors if you have not turned in your shot record for the meningococcal shot you will need to do so asap.  If you have not had the shot yet please turn in a copy of an appointment card so we know you have it scheduled.

 

 

The OHHS and 8th grade Academic Challenge Teams have been invited to participate in many competitions, challenges, and events this year. If you like trivia, have vast knowledge (or want to have) of many interesting topics, or just want to be challenged, please consider joining!

Students interested in being a part of the 8th Grade Academic Challenge team should stop by Mrs. MILLs classroom #603 and pick up a packet if you have not yet been assigned a reading book or packet. 

High Schoolers interested in being a part of the Amazing Academic Challenge Team please come check in and sign up. Practices for both teams will begin Tuesday Sept. 12 and will be every Tuesday and Thursday from 2:45-3:15pm.

 

 

Congratulations to this year’s Thespian officers: President Caroline Kreutzfeld, Secretary Jessica Allen, Treasurer Dan Bollin, and President Elect Alex Millinger.  Auditions for th fall plays will be next Wednesday and Thursday.  See the lobby doors or Miss Tucker for times.

 

 

Attention students there are still a lot of emergency cards that have not been turned back in.  If you have not turned yours in please do so as soon as possible.

Varsity Volleyball beat Willard last night 25-17, 25-19, 25-23. Kaytlynn Sandwisch lead the team with 35 assists.  Leading in kills was Peyton Bloomer with 23 and Logan Harris with 9. Abby Dornbusch and Alaina Hetrick both had 13 digs and Kaytlynn added 11.  Peyton had 5 blocks and Harris added 3 blocks. Dornbusch was 13 for 13 on serve receive.  

 

 

The boys golf team defeated Port Clinton last night 179-193.  Alex Millinger led the Rockets with a 43, Kyle Tomor had a 44 and Jack Glecker had a 45.  Aidan Callahan added a personal best 49. 

 

 

Congratulations to the 8th grade football team on defeating Lakota 34-12 to run their record to 3-0.  Scoring were Cade Petersen on a 1 yard run, and Ben Sagae on runs of 2, 9, 35 and 54 yards.  Mason Wagner completed the scoring with 2 extra point runs.
