Want to Learn about career opportunities that exist in your community?  The 4th Annual Ottawa County Career Showcase, will be held on Friday, October 6th at the Gary Anderson CMP Competition Center.  Local employers (including Adfilm, Davis Besse, Materion, Northern Manufacturing and many more) will hold different activities that students can engage in and demonstrate the skill sets necessary to excel in a broad cross section of careers.

Seniors who plan to attend college after high school are reminded that there will be a financial aid meeting for you and your parents in The HUB on Wednesday, October 11 at 7:00pm

 

 

Mrs. Gilbert is now accepting senior baby pictures for the yearbook.  Bring in your picture with a $20.00 check made out to BCS.

 

 

Art Club Members- We will have our October monthly meeting Thursday, immediately after school in the art room.  It will last until 3:30. Hope to see you there!

 

 

The science club will be having our first blood drive on Tuesday October 31st, Halloween!  We will be signing up donors in the cafeteria this week. The red cross is in dire need of blood due to the recent hurricanes, so please sign up and help the cause if you are able.

At Wauseon, the Rockets beat Wauseon 5-0. Winning at singles was Addi Hasselbach, Chloe Duquette, and Christine Arent. Winning at doubles was Chelsea Heaps, Emma Zibbel, Christine Bolen, and Sarah Chovanec.

 

 

Oak harbor beat Willard last night 25-22, 15-25, 25-18, 25-12 to remain undefeated at 19-0.  Kaytlynn Sandwisch lead the team with 47 assists.  Leading in kills was Peyton Bloomer with 27 and Logan Harris and Abby Dornbusch both added 11.   Ashley Riley lead with 17 digs and Kaytlynn with 14.   Our last home game is Thursday versus Margaretta – join us for Senior night to recognize Abby Dornbusch, Ashley Riley, Rachel Rayburn and Chloe Shanteau.

 

 

JV volleyball played very well last night but lost a hard fought match in 3 against Willard 25-14 20-25 21-25. Emily Wolf led in kills. Sam Tallman led in digs. Sophia Eli and Shelby Adkins led in serving.
