Happy 100th Day of School!!  We have had lots of fun and learned so much in our 100 days together.  I look forward to finishing the school year strong with all of you!  Way to go RCW!  

 

February is “National Children’s Dental Health Month.”  Don’t forget to brush and floss kids - take good care of your teeth!

PBIS Expectation of the Week: Clean up after yourself”

Let’s talk this week about the importance of cleaning up after ourselves while at Acorn Alley, leaving a special, finishing recess and going home for the weekend.  I look forward to sharing ideas with you this week about how important it is to clean up after yourself.  

 

The registration forms for Rocket Little League baseball and the Oak Harbor Soccer League are out and will be due in just a few weeks.  If you are interested in playing baseball or soccer make sure to sign up!   

 

The Girls on the Run Program will begin today..  If you are a 3rd grade girl and would like to participate in this amazing afterschool program, please get a form from the office. There are only 15 spots available. Practices will be held on Mondays and Fridays from 3:30-4:30 at the middle school. The final 5k race will be held at the University of Toledo on Saturday May 12th. Running is not required to complete this 5k-you can run, skip, walk or hop your way to the finish line. Come and see why Girls On The Run is SO MUCH FUN!

 

Our PBIS committee will gather at 3:10 this afternoon.  

 

There will be a TIE group meeting tonight at 6:00 pm.

Now I will ask everyone to please stand tall and proud, place your right hand over your heart and join me in saying the Pledge of Allegiance.  After we are finished with the Pledge we will get ready for our day with the “Rocket Rumble.”
