Good morning R.C. Waters!

Today is Wednesday, March 7, 2018

Today is a wonderful day ESPECIALLY since it’s “National Cereal Day!”  The first cold breakfast cereal, Granula, was invented in the United States in 1863 by James Caleb Jackson.  The famous Cheerios® cereal was invented in 1941 and was originally named “Cheerioats.”  According to a recent survey, Honey Nut Cheerios is the most popular cereal and Frosted Flakes is second.  Happy National Cereal Day!

Dr. Suess day is tomorrow - wooohooo!  Here’s a quote to kick off our day!

“One fish

Two fish

Red fish

Blue fish.

Black fish

Blue fish

Old fish

New fish.

This one has a little star.

This one has a little car.

Say! What a lot Of fish there are.”

PBIS Expectation of the Week:  Use Good Manners”

Did you know that good listening is a sign of good manners?  That’s right! Listening shows that you care and are respectful of the speaker.  Looking at the person who is talking and giving them your full attention is important and they will be very grateful that you are using your good manners.

Speaking of expectations, remember that coming up on March 23 we have the big luau dance party! Those students who do not have any infractions or detentions will be invited to the party. Work hard to earn your invitation RCW!

Now I will ask everyone to please stand tall and proud, place your right hand over your heart and join our announcements leader in saying the Pledge of Allegiance.  After we are finished with the Pledge we will get ready for our day with the “Rocket Rumble.”

  • Today, what are we going to be?
