Good morning R.C. Waters!

Today is Tuesday, March 13, 2018

March is “National Celery Month.”  I really enjoying a snack of celery and peanut butter.  Some people like to place raisins on the peanut butter and call it “ants on a log.”  Whatever way you like it, here’s to celery!

R.C. Cagetakers:

Tonight is a Marco’s Pizza Night!  It’s a great chance to enjoy a yummy dinner and also support our school at the same time.  When you order from the Oak Harbor Marco’s make sure to tell them your teacher’s name. The winning class will enjoy a Marco’s pizza party!

There is a new pass to buy on the DOJO cart.  “Indoor Recess with a Friend” means that when we have an indoor recess, you can choose a friend from another classroom to join you for recess.  That sounds fun!

Remember that any spring pictures your loved ones do not wish to buy should be returned to school.

PBIS Expectation of the Week:  Listen quietly to the food choices in the lunch line”

It is respectful to listen as the food choices are offered to you.  We are very fortunate to have a very nice kitchen staff. Listening quietly as the speak while you are going through the line is important and respectful.

Now I will ask everyone to please stand tall and proud, place your right hand over your heart and join our announcements leader in saying the Pledge of Allegiance.  After we are finished with the Pledge we will get ready for our day with the “Rocket Rumble.”

  • Today, what are we going to be?

  • Rocket Respectful!

  • What are we going to be?

  • Rocket Responsible!

  • What are we going to be?

  • Rocket Ready!

  • Who are we?

  • We are the Rockets!
