Good morning R.C. Waters!

Today is Tuesday, April 3, 2018

Welcome back from Spring Break, to a new month and lots of wonderful possibilities.  Here we go!

The first week of April is known as “Read a Road Map Week.”  I did quite a bit of that last week on our vacation drives!

Speaking of the Fight Song - I need 6 more people to help led the Fight Song on a couple of Fridays in April and May.  If you would like to do this, please send a note to the office, have your teacher email me or stop in and let me know. The first 6 people will get the spots!  AND GO!

R.C. Cagetakers:

Recess with R.C.: I have a long list of friends who have saved up and purchased the “Recess with R.C.” coupon on the DOJO cart.  I am very impressed with how many of you have done this! I promise that I will get to everyone.

Tonight there is a TIE group meeting at 6:00 pm.  Kids bring your loved ones and see what the fun is all about!

PBIS Expectation of the Week:  “Respect Other’s Space & Belongings

For our Acorn Alley friends, I think of respecting others’ belongings when using the baskets to hold your things, like your coat, book bag and more.  The baskets are there to keep everyone’s items separate and easy to find. Only using your basket and not going through other’s things shows respect.

Now I will ask everyone to please stand tall and proud, place your right hand over your heart and join our announcements leader in saying the Pledge of Allegiance.  After we are finished with the Pledge we will get ready for our day with the “Rocket Rumble.”

  • Today, what are we going to be?

  • Rocket Respectful!

  • What are we going to be?

  • Rocket Responsible!

  • What are we going to be?

  • Rocket Ready!

  • Who are we?

  • We are the Rockets!
