Today is Rocket Pride Friday...last week we learned all about Mrs. Gruber. The 2nd retiree in our “fabulous retirees of R.C” series is Mrs. Jensen and now it’s time to learn more about her. Mrs. Jensen has two children and she is very proud of them. Her daughter followed in her footsteps and is a Kindergarten teacher herself. Her son is an an honors student and is studying Accounting. Mrs. Jensen has been a teacher for 34 years! She began as a reading teacher. For the last 25 years she has been a kindergarten teacher here at RC Waters. Mrs. Jensen enjoys volunteering at her church where she has taught Sunday School there and is chariman of Parish Education as well as a member of the church council. In her spare time she likes to shop, read and spend time with her family. Mr. and Mrs. Jensen will be taking a cruise of the Eastern Caribbean this summer. How fun! Mrs. Jensen has given 34 years of her life to the lives of others. From the hundreds of reading students and kindergartners who have had the honor to be in her classes to the staff members and friends who have enjoyed sharing their days and making memories with her, we all wish Mrs. Jensen the very best in the future. Congratulations Mrs. Jensen!
