Rhiannon Reaper Elected President of SkillsUSA Ohio


Rhiannon Reaper, an Oak Harbor High School student who attends Penta Career Center, was recently elected as the SkillsUSA Ohio President.  SkillsUSA Ohio is a career-tech student organization that is involved in preparing its members for leadership and careers in the Engineering, Health, Human Services, Industrial, and Transportation industries. In conjunction with its purposes, SkillsUSA Ohio provides members with opportunities for awards and recognition through leadership, occupational and technical skill events and other competitions.  Rhiannon was honored by the Benton-Carroll-Salem Board of Education on August 22 for her accomplishments.  Rhiannon answered several questions from Board members, and articulated her career goals as nothing less than "changing the world."   Board members congratulated Rhiannon for her accomplishments, and expressed their pride in her leadership and attitude.  During the course of this school year, Rhiannon will be making presentations to stakeholders across the state.
